The underlying vibes I hear say that the scalping is NOT the issue and that Cody, while a really good guy, is very lucky he didn't end up in jail for what he did. It was a matter of poor judgement, not dishonesty, but it still would have been very bad for him if it had been pursued legally. The suspension was an alternative to the legal charges.
Glad he was drafted, but VERY suprised he was the highest NU draft pick this year.

That it was related to ticket scalping has long been rumored, though it makes me wonder why not come out and admit it prior to this?
