Like I said in my original text:  I should have looked up the data for accuracy.  I do remember (not necessarily accurately) that ISU had two consectutive years where they lost the divisional title on the last game in which they should have won.  Perhaps Mangino was never the beneficiary of ISU's generosity.

One more argument in favor of Pinkel over Mangino.

I dont ever remember KU winning the BigXII North....When did they play in the BigXII championship game??? Not ever to my recollection....
