I'd take this a step further and say that you're right, Steve, that is  
about 95% of football news stories.

 From the other perspective - those are the stories people seem to  
want. I think this especially applies to Nebraska fans.

I was talking to someone about the next year's version of "A Sea of  
Red" last week, and during the conversation the analogy I used was this:

People want to walk into the store and buy something like a cereal box  
that says "Husker football" on it. And when they look at the  
ingredients, that's all they want to see - Ingredients: Nebraska  
football.

Start adding anything else in there, and you're toeing the line  
between acceptance and rejection. Or sales and no sales. . That's the  
challenge from this side of the fence.
