[Husker] Athletic Department Budget Cuts?

When a history lecture draws 84,000 people or gives money, facilities, etc. to the athletic department or when the athletic department starts using funds from the State or the University then they can talk. Until then it is sour grapes.

As a self contained entity that already has a balanced budget, or in some years actually MAKES money, why should they be forced to make budget cuts?

Maybe more tenured professors should worry about actually earning what many would be considered an inflated salary by actually teaching classes (rather than letting TA's do it) and less about what the athletic department is doing.
