[Husker] Game Observations

I was at the game. I think the perception that Va. Tech "handled" us
is primarily due to our lack of offensive success. We just didn't
seem like we could do much against them for big chunks of time. The
last couple of possessions of the first half in particular stick out
in my mind as being hard to stomach.

However, as we were leaving I heard some Va. Tech fans comment that it
was a hard hitting game and that Tyrod took some big hits, more than
he has thus far in the season. A lot of times watching the TV
coverage, you don't see some of the hits that take place.

Overall, I don't think Va. Tech dominated us. I'm concerned that
their offense was able to have the success they did, because we're
going to face much better offenses coming up. But their margin of
victory was due to a few bad mistakes on our part. Can we play a game
where our own mistakes don't hand the victory to the other team? For
the sake of getting some wins in the B12, I sure hope so.
