Jeff, I couldn't agree more. I will not blame this game on the refs, but that was not a late hit. Someone already mentioned it, but it looked like Suh left his feet before the play is over. A bad call.

But in the end, the Huskers just had too many lapses in defense and not enough tempo on offense. It felt to me like the offense wasn't able to get into a rhythm until late in the game. That's frustrating and I think it's a big reason the defense looked so poor. It's tough to main a high level when you're on the field that many plays.

This is the beginning of a VERY difficult stretch of games - I hope we can keep it close the next couple of weeks. This team still has work to do to have a winning season.
