Agree completely. Also, if the Huskers can return to the Top Tier, they'll
get better "traditional" televised games, which should pay off in the long
run.

I dont know but it could be that after a while the fans will quit paying for
crappy games. I think the reason we did this year is that we were so bad
last year we had to buy them this year to see what Bo would do to turn us
around. Those questions were not really answered the first two so you had to
buy #3 to see if they would be. People will get tired of paying for games
that are not all that fun to watch and then the payoff will drop. I dont
think you would have the same results in two years with the same three
teams.

Sadly, this might be counterproductive if fans are arguing for tougher games
on
the schedule. When you can get a home game with New Mexico State and
potentially get more money for the telecast than a bigger opponent, what's
the incentive for playing a team like Virginia Tech?
