Three pay-per-view telecasts to start the season gave Nebraska fans a  
chance to see their football team and the athletic department an  
opportunity to make some money.

Perhaps close to $1 million.

Man, happy for them that they're making money, but not really. If they  
keep this up, over the course of a season, it can be rather expensive  
if you want to watch these games.

Given that athletic departments are all engaged in the arms race, do  
you guys think there's a propensity to put more games on PPV, and if  
there's a choice, would they potentially make more $$$ off PPV than  
they would broadcast?

The Big Ten Network looks like  a great deal now.
