Skylar,

You may be right in this matter, but for the moment I'll stick with 
Matt because it seems to me that Holbrook doe have the arm strength 
to throw deep. He threw only two or three deep ones against NU with 
just one competion.

Living not far from Aggieland as I do, I've seen four or five 
telecasts of 2006 and 2007 Aggie games against teams of similar 
caliber in which he threw deep  eight or ten times  per game with 
accuracy. Against NU's D-line, he didn't often get the time for his 
receivers to get far downfield before being sacked or hurried. 
Perhaps with a pro O-line and pro receivers, his chances (deliberate 
pun!) will be better.

Still, nothing about football is carved in concrete because literally 
thousands of variables come into play.

I believe my secondary point about college-anonymous quarterbacks 
making the grade in professional ball does hold true.
