IMHO so far the 12th game has not tended to beef up very many teams'
strength-of-schedule (except for bottom tier or 1-AA schools), because 
far too many schools used it to add another HOME game, with the site 
being far more important than the opponent.

It'll take a few years, but I think that's starting to shift as more
ADs realize/remember that the only thing you get with too many cupcakes 
is a sugar high.
