As a former journalist, I can assure the List that rarely, if ever, 
does media reporting give a full accounting of the pertinent facts - 
- which is the main reason one should never-ever make decisions based 
on what one reads or hears.

We must accept the verdicts of the legal system despite its many 
shortcomings. We don't get to pick and choose.
