I'd like to think you are right, but the realist in me thinks that OU will be similar to Missouri. The only way the Huskers score a couple of late TD's is if Ganz stays in the game against the 2's and 3's of OU...and I hope that doesn't happen.

Nebraska's offense has looked good at times this year, but mostly against the lower tier teams. I think OU is much better than both Missouri and TT. Again, I hope I'm wrong, and the Huskers can play well against the Sooners. I just don't expect it to happen.

Ganz has proven he is a quality QB, and he is able to make adjustments at the line of scrimmage. In fact, I'd put him up there with Zac Taylor in his ability to run this offense. He may even be better than Taylor, as he is more mobile and has the ability to make plays.

OU does not have a great passing defense, but they are 20th in the nation against the run and are 3rd in the nation in sacks. OU has a good rushing defense. The Huskers do not have a good running game, and that will hurt. OU can pin back their ears and go after Ganz. He could have a rough day.

Again, I think the Huskers get blown out in this game, but I hope that I'm just being pessimistic and they come out like gangbusters. Last year, against Texas, they played great defense for nearly 3 quarters. If they can do that this year against OU for all 4 quarters, the game could be interesting.

I believe that this team will get better over time, however, they have no chance in this game. This is a good opportunity to work on next year's players.
