[Husker] Brandon Rigoni vs Mark Manning

After practice last Thursday was a cage match or 1 on 1 contest between
Brandon Rigoni and Mark Manning, the wrestling coach or aka "The Mangler" as
stated on his helmet and blackshirt. They had a bet to decide who was
"tougher", FB players or wrestlers. 

They were both in full pads/helmets and Brandon started at the 10yd line and
had to run through 2 cones at Mark who was at the goal line. The tunnel walk
music played in the background and the Husker announcer added to the "game
like" atmosphere. The Mangler had 5 attempts to stop him. TO, Doc Sadler,
the whole baseball team, the entire FB team and most of the athletic
department were there to watch the event. Brandon ran over Mark on the 1st 2
attempts. Bo was coaching Mark during the event which added to the humor
level. 

The 3rd attempt brought down the house. As Mark was ready to tackle him at
the goal line, Brandon jumped over him and flipped into the end zone and
scored. The FB players and Bo went nuts! 

The 4th try, Rigoni dragged Mark into the end zone, but the referee stated
he stopped him short and TO declared the Mangler the winner amidst the loud
boos from the players and gave him the trophy.
