[Husker] Mizzou holds Buffs to their first Big 12 shutout

As I recall, that 7-0 win against CU back in 1988 was aided by the
J.J. Flannigan dropping the football after he had broken free around
the 40 or so with nothing but green between him and the goal line.
Otherwise, CU never really threatened. The teams combined for three
completed passes on the day.

Last night, it appears that CU could have attempted two field goals to
break the shutout, once on the opening drive of the second half when
they were already down 34-0 and again as time expired. I respect Dan
Hawkins' decision in the first case to play as if you had a shot to
come back and the second case to make a meaningless kick.
