I would argue the Big 12 has NOT passed the SEC.

A couple reasons. I really don't think the worst team in the Big 12 could
beat the worst team in the SEC. Top to bottom they are better.

Second, the Big 12 is just now starting to beat up on each other - something
the SEC has been doing for a couple weeks now.

And, lastly, the national championship still lies in the SEC. This year could
be different, but I still think the Big 12 is playing second fiddle.
