It's a lot easier for freshman to step in and play when there's a core group
of experienced players around them.

Again it still has to do with coaching. Franks "untalented" players were
being coached from the time they got here until the time they left. Bills "5
star players" were standing around having water fights. Easier to make
someone understand what you want when they have been getting reps from day
1.

I don't disagree totally, but there are some freshmen who are playing on
those teams who are beating us. They haven't had years of experience to
build on. Why can't our players come back after a spring and a fall camp
when those freshmen have only had a fall camp?
