I thought it was pretty obvious when Ganz had to go in last year that
he hadn't gotten very many reps before then.  Well, he's getting them now.

Lucky has never excited me, the player I want to see more of is Helu,
but at 6'0" 215 he's kind of small for power football these days and
too big to sqeeze through the teenie holes this OL has been generating.

BTW, don't be too surprised if there's a coaching roster change before
the 2009 season, at OC.

Well, given the way this season is going, getting some reps to the underclassmen makes sense to me.  I would like to see SOME experience coming back next year.

I agree with Lucky -- he has never broken a tackle of substance.  I remember one run against Mizzou where the right side of the field was open and Lucky cut left into two defenders.  He just doesn't see the whole field quickly.  Again, more experience for the underclassmen is not a bad thing either.

And the comment about Watson -- an abrupt about face as many were talking about how we wouldn't be able to hold onto Watson as he would be a hot commodity to be a head coach somewhere.  Now you and others are questioning whether he is a good OC.  It is pretty apparent to me that BC earned the OC part of his salary.  To bad he wasn't a good HC or at least had a good DC as well.

I don't expect any coaching changes next year other than Beck or Eckler taking over as recruiting coordinator (I think this is a "done deal" BTW).  I think TO (and Bo by extension) will give everyone at least another year to prove themselves before making changes.
