I'm wondering who makes the decision on who plays in the blowouts. Is it Bo
or Watson? If it is Watson why didn't Bo over rule Watson and get the young
kids in?
I seen a lot of Callahanism's in last night's game.

Yeah I have to agree here. Why weren' t we seeing Witt or Lee? I was
disappointed in that.

And another thing, one of the backup quarterbacks should be in the game
right
now getting some game experience, not Ganz handing off middle dives for 3
plays
and out.

I realize Missouri is better then Nebraska but I have to say after watching
the
first 3 quarters of this game tonight it has become apparent to me that
Nebraska
is LIGHT YEARS away from teams like Missouri in talent across the board, and
quite honestly I never thought I'd say that.
Callahan and staff were simply not the recruiters they were given credit
for,
period. I'm not ready to blame Pelini for any of this because watching the
defense closely I can see how simplified he has made this scheme, and the
players still are so badly out of position it's ridiculous. Some will say
that is coaching, but in this case it is not, they are simply not good
enough
to
play with Missouri.
Buffalo played better than this against Missouri, and right now I think
Buffalo
would have no trouble handling Nebraska either at home or in Lincoln.
There are several players on defense who don't even belong on the field, at
least not at this level. I know we are not supposed to mention names here so
I
won't but I think it's painfully obvious who the players on defense are
that need to be replaced with Pelini recruits.
Even when Nebraska was winning every game their opponents didn't look as
overmatched as the Huskers look tonight, and I'm afraid it isn't going
to get any better this season unless some drastic improvement takes place.
I hate to say this but I'm almost embarrassed for these guys tonight. It
reminds me of the Texas Tech game in '04(?) Luckily it doesn't matter
what I think. I cannot believe I didn't bet my savings account on this game
tonight (10 point spread!)
