[Husker] Who is our rivalry game?

No way- Oklahoma (in my mind anyway) will always be Nebraska's chief
rival, whether they play every year or not.

Where was Missouri the last 30 years?

Colorado? They remind me of the little annoying dog that chases you down
the sidewalk while you laugh at it. And the other schools you mentioned,
well they may want to put a few wins together first. This may all sound
like arrogance, but really it isn't, it's just the truth. OU vs.
Nebraska will always be the "big" game, at least in my opinion.

Is this week's Missouri game the closest thing we can consider to a
rivalry
game?  Missouri is certainly the best of the big 12 north right now.
Chase
Daniel is a serious heisman contender.  They even look like a rival in
their
black and gold.  It's national tv and a night game.  It has the makings
of a
rivalry.

We don't play OU on a regular basis anymore.  Colorado was a wannabe but
only beat us a couple times and wasn't enough to inspire fear and hatred
like a true rivalry should.  Kansas seems too nice and a little like a
one
year wonder.  K-State maybe but again you have to bring it year after
year.
Prince may not be there after another year.
I almost feel like Colorado was to us a few years back in terms of
rivalry
to missouri?  We have to beat them a few times and take the big 12 away
from
them and make them hurt.  Kind of like Texas did to us when we switched
over
from the big 8 to big 12 and Texas became instant hated rivalry after
the
1996 big 12 championship.  Of course missou probably hasn't gotten over
the
catch yet so is it a rivalry or isn't it?  Given Nebraska's history of
crushing the big 12 north teams throughout the 80's and 90's we could
almost
take our pick of a rival team.

We're spoiled by our history a little here.  I'm not sure Nebraska is
good
enough to have a rival right now but I give Bo a couple years and we'll
be
dominating people and feeling good about ourselves again.  Who is our
rivalry game?

I think we need a couple years to get back on top and a tough loss or
two and there won't be any question.  The quickest way for that to
happen is
to win this game and put ourselves in the drivers seat for the big 12
north.
