[Husker] Code Glenn Suspended

I don't have any "solid" information on the Cody Glenn case, but the feedback I have heard suggest that Cody is done regarding UNL-football. He may be able to preform for NFL scouts in the spring (pre-draft) but he won't play in the bowl game. Again, this is not true "insider info" but still probably accurate.
Bad news for Cody and the football program.

Does anybody else think Cody may be back before Colo. or the bowl game? I think he would have been dismissed from the team rather than just suspended if he is gone for good. Maybe Bo is checking with the NCAA to find out what the penalty should be for his "crime."

A little different. That was, as reported in the late 80s. Many players were
giving their tickets to friends from home, girlfriends, etc and marking them
down as cousin Jenny (tickets were for family members). There were no
allegations that anyone was paid any money for the tickets (which is a serious
violation). There have been cases where alumni would pay hundreds of dollars for
the players tickets (not at NU, but other schools).
Even then, every player listed (over half the team) was told to sit 1 game by
the NCAA. Dr Tom would not sit anyone during a conf game, and since there were
only 3 non-conf games, he decided to forfeit the Florida St game (the first game
coming up). The NCAA changed the penalty really quickly.
