[Husker] Greg Sharpe Skips the KSU Game for Another Assignment

Those of you who tuned into the radio broadcast on Saturday heard Lane Grindle calling play-by-play after Greg Sharpe left the broadcast booth minutes before kickoff.

He had a good excuse.  His wife had gone into labor.

Everything turned out OK.  Sharpe made it back to Lincoln in time for the birth of daughter Taylor, and Grindle filled in fine, though he probably had enough time to work up a good case of butterflies before taking the air.
