I was looking through some stats and found some rather interesting tidbits:

Scoring Offense
We are in the bottom half of the Big XII (#8) but #23 in the country.

Passing Offense
Pretty much the same, #6/#13

Total Offense
Again, #6 / #14

When you only count conference games, those change to #7, #5, #4 proving
that we've actually played better in the Big XII than against our
non-conference schedule.

BIG XII CONFERENCE ONLY TIDBITS:

Defensively:
#1 in Pass Defense (235.2 yds/gm)
(sounded weird to me too, it seems like Big XII QBs have eaten our secondary
alive, but apparently we're the least eaten!)
#4 in Total Defense (396.8 yds/gm)
#1 in Opponents 1st Downs (110)
#2 in Opponents 3rd-Dn Conversion (32.1%, good stat)
Suh is #1 in Tackles for D-lineman (#19 overall) and #3 for TFLs (7)

However...
#11 in Pass Def Efficiency (162.9 Eff)
#12 in INTs (2)
#8 in Rush Def

Offensively:
#3 in 3rd-Dn Conversions (55.2%)
#1 in Time of Poss (35:54 / game)
#1 in Red Zone Offense (92.9%, 78.5% Tds, WOW...OU is 91.9%, but a
staggering 86.5% TDs)
Roy Helu is #8 in the Big XII (67 yds/gm)
Nate Swift is T#7 in Rec (6.5 rec/gm) and Yds (90.3 yds/gm)

Other:
We're #2 in Punt Returns (13.9 yds/ret)
We're dead last in Turnover Margin (-1.67/gm), Penalties (62.5 yds/gm) and
Penalties For (36.0 yds/gm) yet we've got a winning record.
