It's conjecture, but logical. Asante has the build and attitude to
play LB (he loves to hit), has very good speed, but unfortunately is
sometimes lost in coverage or takes bad angles in space. Rather than
have him end up a 3rd team S, a conversion to LB would keep him on the
field, in a position where he has the potential to contribute
significatly, and add depth to a position which could be very short on
experience next season.
