True.  But Anderson deserved it over Childress easy this year.  It can't be overstated how impressive this year's accomplishments have been considering what they lost last year.  Byrne hired Anderson fully knowing who he wanted when he went to aTm, IMO.

    I agree.  As an aside I think the job Childress did with A&M and being 
named Big 12 Coach of the Year again testifies to what NU lost when 
Childress left.
