[Husker] Big 12 Baseball Tournament

Even if Mizzou wins the tourney, they will not get a National Seed, they just don't have the body of work.

In my mind, make it to the champ = 60% chance of NS, win the champ = 90%.

According to Boyd's world RPI last week, we will finish with a top 8 RPI no matter what we do. (I'm aware that doesn't determine NS, but it's a factor)

They played themselves out of it last weekend. Actually, I'll put up
an article tomorrow explaining that the Big 12's national seed will go
to whomever wins the conference. Granted it could be an underdog
playing out of their heads, but it's most likely going to be A&M,
Nebraska or Oklahoma State. Maybe Missouri.

The Big 12 turned into the conference everyone thought it would be -
all mushed together at the top. There was no clear-cut winner.

The Aggies only won the conference by a single game, they're on a six-
game losing streak, so you can't give it to them. Oklahoma State took
head to head series against Nebraska, Texas A&M, Missouri and Texas.
If anyone deserves it, they do, but they have the problem with losing
series against Baylor and Kansas State.

Last weekend the Huskers put their deficiencies on display. Their
pitching has played well, but they're young. They don't have enough
offense to get a long ways in the NCAA tourney unless they continue to
overachieve. The NCAA is not going to give a national seed to a team
that finished third in it's conference unless we win the Big 12 tourney.

Missouri... .they completely underachieved this season, but lost
series to Oklahoma State and got swept by Texas A&M.

One of those four teams will get a national seed.

If you asked me to bet on a team that wins the Big 12 tourney, I'd say
it'd be Oklahoma State. Their offense is very good, and their pitching
good enough.
