I thought the last sentence of the first paragraph was great! 

"There may be other belief systems in place in Nebraska, but the
primary religion is Cornhusker football."

So true - at least for the past 40+ years. Now, if we can start a 20
year baseball run (to Regionals, Super Regionals each year and become
a CWS regular) you might find NU is a 2 sport state!
