The only way NU wouldn't get a national seed after sweeping Mizzou and 
A&M would

Again weirder things have happened for NU to win championships, but expecting
Texas to take two against the Aggies right now seems to be a stretch.  If NU
can win both series against MU and TAMU, even if they drop to 3rd in the
conference, they still have a decent shot at a national seed.  But like Skylar
says, they need a good showing in the Big 12 tourney - beating OSU would help.

I'd prefer not to dwell on scenarios 3 & 4. :-p

The pitching still scares me.  I never know what to expect from some of these
guys.  Sometimes it's lights out, other times it's no outs. . .

This team does appear to have great chemistry and drive.  I would say that
they've exceeded all my expectations for this year and that alone makes me
really proud of how they've done.

The A&M team reminds of how good NU's 2000 club was in that they were 
never out
of a game until the last out was recorded.  It's going to be one tough 
series. Hopefully the weathers great and the crowds are massive and 
vocal.  May as well
make it as tough on A&M as possible.
