OK... I will comment.
I have been listening to radio baseball for over 39 years...KC Royals (Fred
White and DennyMatthews) and the NU broadcasts for the last several. I do
admit, I like Sharpe. I also like how he calls football. I am one of the
few who enjoyed Jim Rose's passion for the Huskers, but he was the voice of
the huskers at the wrong time.
He had to call games under the Callahan era when we gave up... Back to
baseball... Fiala...EVEN...I, 48 years young, think that he calls the game
like an announcer from Wood River...No offense, but definately a small town
feel.
