WOW! Jon, I received my copy of "A Sea of Red - 2008" over the weekend. I'm starting my second reading. Most of it is FANTASTIC! Insightful, painful (especially some of the honest comments about 2007), funny, educational, and extremely easy to read and understand. There's something for everyone, educated fan, newbie fan, Nebraska native, or UNL grad. The articles really hit me in my Nebraska-raised gut. Lots of truth, some things I disagreed with (especially in "The Nebraska Way" by Brandon Cavanaugh).

I was going to read it and then pass my copy on to my 84 year old mother to read. Forget that, I ordered a copy for her and one for my brother. This is a keeper!

Jon, for a "geek," :-), you and your crew did an outstanding job! Keep up the good work. I'm already looking forward to the 2009 edition!

To anyone on the list who hasn't already ordered "A Sea of Red - 2008", go to www.maplestreetpress.com and order a copy NOW! It's inexpensive and well worth it even with shipping added!

GO BIG RED!
