PPV
If they show it, we will pay.
The Husker Nation is huge. I have never really understood the argument
about Nebraska having too small an audience whenever rumors about the
Big-10 come up.
Granted there are less than 2 million residents in Nebraska proper, but
many of leave. Nebraska has a huge national following and I suspect that
PPV events rake in a lot of money.
I don't mind paying extra, because then I am guaranteed that I get to see
the entire game. Even with DirecTV, ESPN's Game Plan has pre-empted a
Nebraska game because the earlier game goes long (oh yeah, the cut away
from the NU/KSU game six years ago (and eventually went back without
commentators)). Nebraska is always getting screwed by Game Plan. I have
missed entire first quarters because of this.
I get the DirecTV sports package that allows me to what a Nebraska game on
an FSN Midwest channel and they never cut away. Other wise the FSN AZ
channel would cut to the Pac-10 game if the Nebraska game goes long.
I'd pay to see the first three games. Since I cannot make it back to
Lincoln and $30 less than the cost of a ticket anyway.
