Pretty amazing but of course you are giving examples of places
that have big NU Alumni Groups that got involved. Do you believe
without the Alumni Chapter/s getting involved Damon's, for example,
would have it on, especially in Columbus? That would be the same as a
bar in Lincoln picking up a PPV Ohio State game. There would have to be
outside influences. It is even reasonably possible the Alumni Chapter/s
agreed to help defray expenses or maybe totally pay for it in these
examples. We aren't talking about these places just choosing to have it
on TV and all it takes is turning the channel. It costs the bar
significant dollars to show these PPV games. I don't care what team is
on the business owners have to be shown it will be worth their while or
someone picks up the tab or they wouldn't do it. That is true even in
Lincoln, NE. It is just that in Lincoln the bar is pretty much assured
of having a sellout for a Husker PPV game. I am only saying what I have
said is because the game is PPV. If it were just on regular TV I would
believe anything would be on anywhere. If I were to thank anyone it
would be the Alumni Chapter. It will certainly give people a chance to
see the game.
