     Thanks for the response.  The pressure is enormous to win in big time 
college football.  NU is no different.  Ask Bill Callahan and Kevin 
Cosgrove.    Both those two are villified in Nebraska and among NU fans. 
Were they bad people?  Not that I know of.  Were they lawbreakers?  Again, 
not that I know of.  One could ask pretty much all the character questions 
one wants and really Callahan and Cosgrove I believe would be found to be OK 
people.  Their crime?  They didn't win enough football games.  I am not 
trying to say we should have kept the previous Head Coach and staff.  Quite 
the contrary.  The situation had come to a point where they needed to go 
both for the program's sake and for themselves.  But both know the stinging 
effect of coming off the field to catcalls and expletives in Lincoln, NE. 
If the program was measured by what kind of young men were developed and the 
graduation rate with wins and losses being secondary there would probably be 
an entirely different kind of individual recruited.
