One just has to understand that NU isn't the draw on TV they once
were. I am not sure after the last four or five years why that is so hard
to understand. As Husker fans of course we want to see the Huskers. TV
people don't look at it that way. They look at which will bring ratings.
They are ratings driven period. They could care less what game they are
televising as long as the ratings are there. NU just doesn't draw the
ratings at this time. That isn't to say they can't get that back but right
now it isn't there. I would sure think nationally Wake Forest against
Baylor certainly would draw bigger ratings not because of Baylor but Wake
Forest. Most of the country couldn't care less about Pelini's debut. I am
not saying I feel this way, I am just saying I can certainly see why TV
chose to go the direction they did.
