I understand you guys having worries about playing Virginia Tech as they are a very good team and it will be a great challange to beat them. NU will have to have its A++ game that day.

However what has K-State shown the last two years to make you think we shouldn't beat them? Yeah they have the "savior" Josh Freeman at QB but not much of a surrounding cast for him. I think Freeman is a good QB but not as good as everyone tries to make him out to be. I still haven't seen him earn all his praise yet. I honestly cant remember about the 2006 season but I dont recall KSU even being led to a bowl game yet under Freemans watch.

I look for NU to win a minimum of 8 games next year. We dont lose a whole lot on offense, yes I know we lose some recievers but we have some good young ones coming up, and the defense will return a lot of young talented guys who should be HIGHLY motivated to rise from last years showing.

And Bob I doubt that you could motivate your mother in law or aunt to the level it is needed to play college football. I dont doubt that you could motivate them enough to do what ever it is they do do well. If they are good cooks, I think you could motivate them to make a great Sunday dinner, but I highly doubt you could motivate them to play college football.

While I respect your opinion I am not sure I agree. In order to come
to your conclusions first of all Pelini and crew are going to have to turn
everything magically around. Coming off last year VT challenged for
the National Title. NU was somewhere around 70th or so. I am not sure
just coaching can make up all of that in obe season. I disagree that it is
all in motivation and attitude. I can motivate my Mother-in law and
Aunt but I doubt that would do any good. You have to throw talent in
there as well. I think Bo can get the talent here but whether or not it is
there right now remains to be seen especially defensively.
