To Greg: NU isn't the only one...Wichita State's season is abysmal. Too
many injuries and a new coach with completely new style of play (Kansans
probably don't recall how [relatively] bad KU was its first season with
current HC Bill Self. He was "making do" with Roy's leftover players.)
WSU really misses their former HC Mark Turgeon, who got blasted when aTm
came up here to play at KSU recently.

To Jon: Despite Mr. Beach's misgivings, I always thought Danny Nee
temporarily helped NU roundball fans "forget" this kind of thinking with
the Piatkowski-era teams. They (and he) were fun to watch. He seemed to
know how to recruit, and I have faith Doc will prove similarly if he's
given time.
