[Husker] Bitter cold Huskers games

NU - OU 1976 was the coldest I've ever been in my life. Especially sitting high in the south endzone with a north wind. Also my first game ever. The last minute loss didn't help either. I remember feeling warm when the band marched in and when the team entered the field. I thought maybe it was just my imagination how cold I remembered that being.

I'm sure it was -87 degrees and uphill both ways too and from the stadium : )

Among others, I vividly remember sitting through the bitter cold 1976 and 1993 Nebraska-Oklahoma games in Lincoln and was curious how cold it actually got during those contests.? If someone could direct me where to find this information, I would greatly appreciate it.? Thanks.
