I think Bo will be more successful but in all seriousness it won't take
much to be more successful. Whether Bo will take us back to the glory
years of Devaney and Osborne is still very much unknown. And yes I
think Bo will be better for the overall program. Bo understands the
college environment, the college program, and the student/athlete better
than apparently did Callahan.

I don't think Husker fans in the long run are going to be satisfied with
just being more successful than Callahan. They want the old times with
National contention, North titles, nine plus win seasons, and Big 12
titles. We'll see if Bo can get back to that. I hope so but we really have
no idea. He has no track record as Head Coach. The other thing that is
going to make it difficult is the Big 12 and especially the North is much
tougher than it was when TO was coach.

It will probably be better/much improved but just saying that still
isn't saying much. "Better/much improved" is relative. The defense
really has only one way to go. The defense could be improved
considerably and still not be a great defense. I am going to give Bo the
same rope I would give any coach. I'll give him 3-5 years to see what
happens. The first year I don't expect the world. It is a new staff and a
new program that has to settle in. But, after three years there better be
marked improvement.
