[Husker] Basketball

    Well the Husker Men's Basketball team went down to a much improved 
Baylor team tonight.  The final score was 72-70.  The next four games 
are Kansas, Missouri, Iowa State, and Kansas State.  All but Iowa State 
are on the road.  The Huskers are 0-3 in the Conference and it doesn't 
get easier. 


     Free throws just killed NU tonight.  The Huskers were 21-34 from 
the line.  Obviously, just three more would have won the game.  I don't 
know what it is.  I like Doc Sadler but this team again reminds me of 
some of Collier's teams.  I can't really put my finger on it but it just 
at times looks as if not everyone is on the same page.  When Sadler 
first came here Maric was preparing to go to the NBA.  Sadler flew all 
the way to Australia to talk Maric into coming back to NU.  I think for 
Maric's sake it is a good thing that happened.  I don't see Maric ever 
playing in the NBA unless his play drastically changes.
