     I don't know about this one. I sit a little on the fence but I lean
a
little more to the side of we shouldn't have taken this kid back. I am
pretty much of the opinion once you decommit you burn your bridges.
There is
no going back. So now we have taken back a kid that has not only
decommitted
from NU but also Colorado. His word is at best questionable.

That's pretty harsh.  Massive upheaval at the school he committed to
made him have second thoughts.  Hawkins seems to be an excellent
recruiter and made hay from that, so seeking some stability he commits
to CU.  Sees how things really are going to be fine where he originally
wanted to go and so comes back.  Nowhere near as bad as the prodigal
son, but you don't even want him.
