Worthless lunch-time trivia:
I remember Jerry Fort, but only vaguely recall the good NU teams of the
60's. Of interest, 1966's NCAA tournament appears to have had had 22
teams - Texas-Western's run to the title. Kansas represented the Big 8,
didn't offer at large bids then.
Using http://www.hoopstournament.net/TeamReport.html, it appears that
there are 87 present Division I teams that have not won an NCAA
tournament game. Few from major conferences.
Top non winners of all time-
North Carolina A&T 0-9
Eastern Kentucky 0-7
Nebraska 0-6
Hey, we're number 3!!!
OSU lost a lead at Baylor last night and suffered some injuries in the
process (not sure how serious). It will be interesting to see how long
Boone Pickens has patience with a coach whom he did not pick ... oh,
wait, Pickens isn't the AD ... my bad.
