[Husker] "What's he doing now?"

I don't quite understand how something works, here.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this one.

1.  Callahan accepts HC job for Raiders.  Gets fired and receives compensation.
2.  Callahan accepts HC job for Huskers.  Gets fired and receives compensation.
3.  Callahan could get the OC job for the Chiefs.  Presumably, if he does poorly, he'll get fired and receive compensation.

If I'm getting this correct, he could make a living by getting hired/fired.

Someone please tell me that if he takes this job he has to pay something back to Nebraska.
