If so, that would imply that the coaches were satisfied with the
players' lack of stamina or strength, and Kennedy was merely
fulfilling those requirements. I have a hard time believing the
previous staff was satisfied.

Also, I admit I don't pay nearly as much attention to the other
sports. Are UNL athletes in other sports seemingly well-conditioned?

Very possible, although it is difficult to find S&C guys who don't
have a tie back to NU in some way.
