I have the book I believe you are referring to- it's called Complete Conditioning for Football by Mike Arthur and Bryan Bailey. Great book for anyone looking to see just what it takes to perform on a high athletic level, ton and tons of info on workouts, nutrition, etc.

Right or wrong, I think Kennedy was blamed for the poor conditioning of
the Huskers. I'm at a loss for the name of the strength coach that
Pederson/Callahan reassigned to the basketball program when they decided
to bring Kennedy in 4 years ago. I think he is now at USC. It seems to
me that her wrote a book regarding the strength program for Husker
Football, a book that was like a bible for strength and conditioning. I
have also heard that he and his wife do not like California and would
like to get closer to their families in Nebraska.
