     I guess I didn't realize the only "must wins" out there are those that 
affect your position to go to the NCAA.  I'll remember that.  Doc is 
building a program this year and next year.  He is not going to the 
NCAA this year and probably won't next year.  But, in building a 
program there are "important" wins at the very least.  This program 
really only has one way to go and I think Sadler can move it up.  I don't 
ever expect the program to be in the class of Duke, North Carolina, and 
Kansas but if NU could consistently finish in the top half of the 
conference and at least compete with the Texas' and Kansas' of the 
world it would be wonderful.

     I have no idea what Bob Knight would have done if he had a 
contending team.  I wouldn't doubt it would have changed his outlook 
and who couldblame him?  I am also sure it affected his thinking that his 
son was the one replacing him.  But, I am not sure what any of that has 
to do with the Huskers winning the game.  If Texas Tech is really that 
bad it added more importance that NU wins the game.  It doesn't do a lot 
for the confidence of a team to lose to someone really bad.
