     Cooper wants to play football and baseball.

     I don't know of very many that have successfully done that.at NU.  My guess is 
this guy will eventually go with one or the other.  I am sure there are a couple more 
but the only ones I can really think of that played both football and baseball 
successfully were Adrian Fiala and Darin Erstad.  Erstad was actually at NU on a 
baseball scholarship.  And, Erstad was a punter on the football team which wouldn't 
demand near the time a full time player would.  Turner Gill dabbled in baseball a 
little at NU but never really had a career.  He then played a couple of years in the 
Minor Leagues, I believe it was the Indians organization, after his professional 
football career ended with too many hits to the head.
