It would make sense for them to invite about 300.  ~224 get drafted in
the draft so that gives you room for error and team needs to be taken
into consideration.  The left overs can then be invited to try out by
the teams who have rated them.

I thought I had posted last week on that subject, but maybe it didn't
take.  Last year's combine had over 300 players invited.  I would
think you could assume that last year was not atypical, so that means
an average of 300 people a year, or on average 2 players per Division
IA team.  That seems like a lot to me, but on further consideration
maybe not.  How many combine attendees make it on NFL teams?
