Bob (and others)- I'm not surprised by this, and in fact I liken it to
the situation at schools like Duke or Georgetown- sure the basketball
team gets most of the attention, but their football squads aren't
exactly world beaters. Once NU basketball can show recruits 4 or 5
national title plaques on the wall then you'd probably see more interest
in the program, but unfortunately that's just the way it goes now a
days.

 

Not to mention, football is the REAL national pastime! (sorry baseball
fans)
