[Husker] NC State/Rutgers, Callahan and Daniel

Let's not get carried away.... We have no one who comes close to
Jeremy Maclin, nor do we have a tight end that's close to Coffman. You
could compare Chase Daniel to Joe Ganz, but if you compared them at
the beginning of the season, there would be no comparison.
We have no linebacker close to Weatherspoon, in fact, other than Suh,
we have no one close on defense.
After Missouri lost to Oklahoma State, they never got over their
disappointment, never got their confidence back, and it's only because
they had some pretty good talent that they won as many as they did,
and won the North. Last night you had Northwestern playing as well as
they possibly could and they lost to a Missouri team that played like
crap most of the game.
The Missouri game changed our philosophy, at least offensively. Pelini
figured out that this offensive line was never going to run block
worth a damn, so they moved to spreading the ball around and it worked
remarkably well for the rest of the season.
Perhaps it's the step to bigger and better things. Devaney had his
47-0 loss to Oklahoma. Who knows what lies ahead...!?
