Vegas likes Clemson by 2.5 points. They will have a bigger fan following since they both travel well and are closer to Jax but NU will be represented well.
As a team, Clemson's season came very close to NU's. They started slow at 3-3, then when Bowden stepped down, turned things around to end up 7-5. I'm not exactly sure why Vegas likes Clemson more, since we had a better record in a better conference, but who knows. Statisically, Clemson has a much better defense and their running backs are extremely fast (CJ Spiller is an NCAA sprinter of some sort). Clemson started out slow because their O line was very poor early, but they reportedly moved players around until they found a unit that would work.
Personally, I like the match-ups. Our Dline versus their Oline is critical and I think we win that matchup. If we can prevent their backs from breaking out, we should keep them in check. On D, their safeties and backers are the strength but I like our chances to run against their line and to use the wide passing game to move the ball. Look for NU to use the running game and short passing game to move the ball consistently.

So how do folks think the Cornhuskers match up with Clemson?
