I like Osborne as much as the next guy, but his inability to say  
anything negative gets a little old sometimes.

What I remember about the '82 Orange Bowl was my loss of innocence  
while watching college football. Previously, I thought the universe  
was ruled by fairness, and that was reflected in referees. That game  
made me realize that the deck was routinely stacked. I've never seen  
college football the same since.

Bottom line - you're a northern school, going to the South to play  
football, you've got a better than 50% chance of being screwed.

Dave Rimington was called how many times in that game....??? For  
holding, I believe, after not having one all year. If I recall  
correctly, he was also called for offsides (how do you call a center  
for offsides). It was a real screw job.
